Admissions
In our Trust, from Reception to Year 6, we follow the same admissions criteria as Wolverhampton City Council. The admission policy is within the Local Authority guidelines. Places are prioritised in the following way:
- Looked After Children
- Special Educational Need
- Siblings already in School
- Distance
- Age
In-year admission into primary schools is arranged by Wolverhampton City Council. Application forms are collected from, and returned to the Civic Centre in Wolverhampton. Once allocated, you are invited into school to meet with the Head of School to discuss the next steps prior to admission and there will be an opportunity given to the child and parents to meet the class teacher and children in their age group.
Requests for a place in the Nursery should be made through the school office. We offer either a morning or an afternoon place for each child.

Admissions 2023/24
The determined admission arrangements for 2023/24 are available in the admissions policy which can be found below.
The deadline for applying for a Reception Year place for September 2023 is 15th January 2023. Allocation Day is 17th April 2023.
Admission to Nursery at St Martin’s Primary, Grove Primary or Field View Primary does not guarantee admission to Reception.

If the total number of children seeking admission to any one year group exceeds the admission limit, the Local Authority will allocate places on the basis of the following list:
- Children who are siblings of children already attending the school at the time of admission
- Children who have medical or with social reasons for attending
- All other children, with those living closest to the school by the shortest walking distance getting the highest priority.
